Horseman NOD-1 Overdrive Pedal Gold and Silver Centaur s in one pedal, transparent overdrive. Two in One Overdrive Pedal One of the most sought-after dual overdrive pedals produced in the mid '90s is now in one unique pedal design-with a pocket size. NUX Horseman pays homage to the legendary Centaur pedal. There are 3 dials for primary settings and 2 modes: Gold and Silver, and it offers massive headway usually requiring an 18v input.Gold Mode mimics its classic predecessor; the transparent Gold Centaur overdrive pedal and the Silver Mode is a powered-up version with an extended gain range (Silver Centaur). NU-X Unique Design The sound is based on the Centaur's voltage converter circuit. But the Horseman's characteristic design is crafted with a built-in OP-AMP voltage-converter driving the 18V to OP-AMP. Higher voltage-supply orders-up more harmonics, and convincingly reproduces the sound of this unique pedal. Clean Boost Another “classic” way to use the NUX Horseman. Very useful when used in combination with the amplifiers drive channel (or any other drive pedal). And, depending on the Gain - Output adjustment, it lets the Horseman be used as a clean boost. Dial-up a low-gain with a high output setting, and it adds mostly volume and minimal color to your sound. Natural Distortion Additionally, the controls can be set to distort the sound signal in the pedal, where two Schottky diodes can perform a waveform clipping. ( The germanium diodes are discontinued, we especially select the Schottky diodes to replicate the waveform clipping ) The "gain" knob is a double potentiometer (a "dual-ganged gain pot"), which controls bass and middle frequencies. Treble and volume are each controlled with separate knobs. Our engineers would like to share the development story of the NUX Horseman. You can find more technical details about the Klon Centaur and NUX Horseman, CLICK HERE and visit our blog. True/Buffer Bypass NUX Horseman has an optional bypass mode. You can use the pedal in True Bypass mode to keep your signal untouched when the pedal is OFF in the chain. We highly recommend to select buffer bypass mode if you have more than 4 pedals connected together; switch to Buffer Bypass mode and there will be no signal loss in your pedal chain! Push and hold the footswitch and power-up the pedal; the LED indicator will show which bypass mode is activated; RED - True Bypass / GREEN - Buffer Bypass. Specifications: Gold and Silver modes: 2 independent pedal sounds in one mini stomp box Gain, Treble and Output Controls Voltage Converter Optional: True Bypass / Buffer Bypass Power: 9V Negative Tip
Lacerate is a mini pedal with a huge boost ! The unbelievably simple user-interface comes from our complex Dual FET Circuit Design, but don't worry about what's under the hood... just enjoy the one simple control knob, two Boost options and two Bypass modes. Features: Luminous knobs for checking on the dark stage Strong and lightweight aluminum die-cast chassis 9V center negative DC supply, 75mA current draw Weight: 174g / 6 oz Dimensions: 94 x 51 x 53mm (L x W x H) / 3.7 x 2.0 x 2.08inches (L x W x H) 2 Boost Modes: Clean Boost - In the Clean mode, Lacerate only boosts the signal, increasing the volume without any sound colorization. For this reason, Lacerate is one of the cleanest "clean boost" pedals available. Crank Boost - If you want fat, harmonically rich boost tone, just hold down the foot-switch (1 second) to engage the 2nd stage which adds your overdrive tone. Most boost pedals will only yield about + 20dB maximum, but Lacerate`s Crank mode gives you a whopping + 35dB . From average to huge! Higher Voltage, Increased Headroom & Dynamic - Lacerate has an integrated voltage-doubler which automatically changes 9V to 18V giving you ginormous headroom and dynamic. WARNING: To avoid damage to voltage doubler circuit, please ONLY use 9V Power Source. It will handle the conversion. True Bypass or Buffer Bypass Doubling the voltage to 18V gives you better dynamic, but it also creates a better headroom buffer. A lot of professional guitar players start their signal-chain with a stand-alone buffer. Lacerate has an embedded selectable buffer bypass You can change the bypass mode by turning on the power while holding the footswitch.
Engage the Morning Star foot-switch to add more overhead with saturated grit to your clean tones, and if you wanna’ boost your high-frequencies to a whole other stratosphere, press/hold the foot-switch to activate the Shine circuit which adds a whole new level of tone brightness. A Simple Pedal, Loaded with Massive Tone! 0 to 5 on the Drive-Knob yields a balanced overdrive to your clean tone. Tweak it up for thick overdrive with a bit more gain. NUX Sculpture Compressor pedal offers a consistent volume output level and sharpens the signals on top and bottom edges. When you start picking your guitar, it will clean the loud (peak) notes and increase the sustain by raising the level of decaying (quiet) notes. Sculpture also contributes to the signal foundation that’s fed into the rest of your effects chain. It has 2 clip modes, simply you can switch between “Clean Mode” and “Clip Mode” by holding the switch for 1 second.Clean ModeThe clean mode has a wide limit range from bottom to top so if your guitar slams the limits too hard (like humbucker pickups) it is very suitable to control the compression. You can also dial up a very soft and clean compressor for single coil system guitars in Clean mode. Clip Mode (Clip Light is On)If you want to squeeze your sound, Clip Mode will make it tight like a cowgirl's jeans and the compressor will wrap all over the signal. It is very suitable for the single coil guitars to compensate the weak output. Blend KnobWhen you adjust the knobs to catch a perfect balance between clipped frequencies and a good sustain, blend circuit allows you to adjust dry/wet compressor effect level on the processed signal. Whatever you dial-up on Sculpture Compressor, you can simply adjust the opacity of the effected sound.True Bypass / Buffer BypassSculpture Compressor has an embedded selectable buffer bypass. You can change the bypass mode by turning on the power while holding the footswitch.

It produces a very warm sound with natural treble decay. Very suitable for scorching ballad solos with romantic atmosphere. Our unique algorithm replicates the physical infinity oscillation feedback while you tweak the time knob from max to min quickly. Tape Echo is based on the legendary Space Echo machine. We digitally recreated the retro-feel of a real tape and capstan configuration. The Tape Echo emulates the high-frequency saturation and low-end decay of magnetic tape. It’s gently modulated for added richness and color. Tweak the time knob from max to min quickly, and you can get the infinity feedback. Sub-Division with Smart Tap Tempo DELAY SUB-DIVISIONS WITH SMART TAP TEMPOSet the Time knob parameter to your desired sub-division, then you can engage the smart tap tempo by pressing the footswitch twice to get a dynamic sub-division tap tempo delay . Press the footswitch once to engage/disengage the effect. Press twice, to access Smart Tap Tempo. In the meantime, the delay time is related to tap tempo and current sub-division parameter. The LCD display of the FLOW TUNE is very clear in bright sunlight.Enjoy playing with it in an outdoor concert. Enjoy playing with it on stage in dark environment. Features TRUE BYPASS/BUFFER/BUFFER MONITOR modes On the FLOW TUNE, you can switch between TB(True bypass), BF(BUFFER), and BFM(BUFFER MONITOR), according to your tastes and environment. Why is BUFFER mode important? The FLOW TUNE not only features a true bypass for outputting the sound exactly as it was input, but now includes built-in BUFFER/BUFFER MONITOR modes. The majority of electric guitars use passive pickups with a high impedance output. When you are using a cable there is a loss of tone, usually high frequencies, after about 6 m (around 18 feet) and this problem gets worse the longer your cable. A buffer boosts the signal over long cables to avoid loss of tone, keeping it clean and clear - even when your pedal is off.The BUFFER enhances the sound quality in bypass mode, so that you can still maintain audio quality even when using a long cable to connect to the tuner, or when inserting the tuner into a complex effects board. More than that, on the BUFFER MONITOR mode, you can even check all notes you played at any time without stopping playing and bending. Fits Any Board Compact size and steady weight, easy to fit the pedalboard with velcro.Besides that, the specially-designed footswitch offers comfortable pressing feedback. The most imporant thing: It's Pink! The mini SCF (SUPER CHORUS Flanger & Pitch Modulation) tributes to TC Electronic’s Stereo Chorus Flanger, one of the best modulation pedals ever made since 1976. Chorus, Flanger, Pitch Modulation. These deliver the magic swirls, wobbling wonders and pure shimmering awesomeness of the SCF that we know and love, staying true – and paying tribute – to the original. NUX's modern-tech DSP yields a perfect combination of both worlds: analog and digital. To achieve all of the objectives, our engineers had to develop an algorithm that mimics the principles of BBD chips - the key component of Analog Chorus effects. Quality-grade BBD chips in large mass have become incredibly rare, so this method is not practical for making an affordable analog chorus device.. Modulation Types Using DSP technology, NUX is able to offer a mini-pedal with a contrasting array of chorus tones. Besides that, mini SCF offers wider dynamic range, 9V DC power, smart tap tempo that innovates the origin and gives you more good vibes.Chorus: A chorus is basically a pitch generator which mixes multiple delay signals. When the multiple delay signals are mixed with the original signal, a soft and wide sounding modulation effect is created.P.M.: A combination of chorus and pitch vibrato which creates a “light” chorus sound.FLG: A flanger is based on the same principle as a chorus, although here the signal can be regenerated (like adding feedback on a delay) creating a more distinctive sounding effect.Mini SCF offers True-bypass and Buffer-bypass (Trails), just hold the footswitch to boot-up the pedal (do not connect USB). The footswitch indicator will show you the bypass status. (While you boot-up the pedal, if the FS indicator flashes “Green”=BF, “Red”=TB.)Mini but mighty! It also supports Stereo input & output. UKIYO-E CHORUS (NCH-4) is a mini chorus pedal with 3 different chorus models including ST Chorus, SCH-1, and CE-1. You can switch the models by tapping the tap switch. Old-school Analog Chorus has always been warm but it was hungry for dynamic completion. UKIYO-E translates as "pictures of the floating world". NUX's modern-tech DSP yields a perfect combination of both worlds: analog and digital. To achieve all of the UKIYO-E Chorus objectives, our engineers had to develop an algorithm that mimics the principles of BBD chips - the key component of Analog Chorus effects. UKIYO-E's active low-frequency provides the Traditional Analog Chorus Tone discerning ears have come to expect in a true analog chorus pedal. Dynamic Tone and Noise-Elimination ability put UKIYO-E into a completely separate category from cheap analog pedals. Quality-grade BBD chips in large mass have become incredibly rare, so this method is not practical for making an affordable analog chorus device. Using DSP technology, NUX is able to offer a mini-pedal with a contrasting array of chorus tones. Chorus Types ST Chorus got inspired by MXR® Stereo Chorus, which is gorgeous sounding. We've consolidated the controls by eliminating the bass and treble knobs, now internally set at middle position, and we've eliminated the need for the bass filter altogether, which is now automatically corrected through the advancements of Core-Image ™ sound modeling. SCH-1 tributes to ARION® SCH-1, one of the best sounding vintage analog choruses, producing an incredible variety of authentic tones, anything from subtle, clean chorus to a pretty realistic Leslie effect. CE-1 is based on the legendary BOSS® CE-1 which was the first chorus effect pedal arrived on the scene in 1976. Before that, it was only available as a built-in effect on a classic jazz amplifier. UKIYO-E exactly replicates the characteristic of this pedal; that special warmth of a rich jazz atmosphere, an immediate recognizable highlight to any musician's tone. Mini but mighty!
